Most development is a black box. You approve a quote, wait, and receive a website. What happened in between is invisible — including whether anyone thought about security before it went live. We work differently, and we think you should be able to see exactly how.
We write down what is being built before anything is built. Scope, requirements, and constraints, agreed in writing. This is what everything else is measured against.
Before a single line of code exists, we work through how the system could be attacked — what data is at risk, where the weak points would be, and what needs to be designed in rather than added later. Most builds never do this. Fixing a structural security problem after launch costs many times what designing it out at the start does.
We use AI to accelerate development. This is why we can deliver in weeks what traditionally takes months, and it is why our process has more checkpoints than a conventional build, not fewer.
Nothing progresses on the assumption that it is correct. Each stage is inspected and tested against a defined standard before the next begins. Automation makes the work faster; it does not make the review optional.
We are deliberate about what information enters any AI tool during development. Credentials, customer data, and sensitive configuration are kept out. This is a decision we made early and enforce consistently — it is not something most AI-assisted development considers at all.
Once the build is complete, we audit the finished codebase specifically for security issues — checking that nothing has crept in during development. This is a separate pass with a separate purpose, not a re-run of testing.
Automated linting and consistent standards across the codebase. Unglamorous, and the difference between code that can be maintained and code that cannot.
Functional testing against the specification from stage one. We check that what was built is what was agreed.
Security is part of the build, not an upsell. Threat modelling and the security audit are included in every project. We do not charge extra to think about how your site could be attacked.
Speed does not come at the cost of care. AI makes the building faster. The review stages are where the time goes, and we have not removed them.
Your data is handled deliberately. We decided what could and could not be shared with AI tools before we started using them, not after something went wrong.
You can see the process. This page is the process. If anything here matters to your project, ask us about it — we would rather have that conversation before you commission than after.
