The terms that apply when you book, pay for, or use any service through 5chumat.co.uk.
Last updated: 1 September 2026
These terms apply to any booking, purchase, or use of 5chumat.co.uk, operated by 5chumat Super Solutions ("5chumat", "we", "us"). By booking a consultation, purchasing a service, or using the client portal, you ("you", "the client") agree to these terms.
We provide two disciplines under one team: cybersecurity assessments (penetration testing, security audits, advisory) and web/application development (builds, ongoing Care Plan support). What's included in any specific engagement is set out on our Pricing page or in a written proposal following a Scoping Sprint — these terms sit alongside that scope, not in place of it.
If a refund is agreed for a one-time payment, it's processed back to your original payment method via Stripe, minus a fixed admin fee to cover payment processing costs (shown to you before the refund is issued). Refund eligibility depends on how much of the engagement has already been delivered or scheduled at the point of cancellation — we'll always tell you plainly what applies to your situation rather than leave you to guess from a general clause.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked consultation, contact us as early as you can at info@5chumat.co.uk — we deal with this reasonably and case by case rather than applying a rigid penalty schedule.
Any security assessment or penetration test we carry out against your systems requires your written authorisation, scoped to specifically what we're allowed to test, before any testing begins. We won't test anything outside that written scope. You confirm, by authorising the engagement, that you either own the systems in scope or have the legal right to authorise testing against them.
A security assessment reflects the state of your systems at the time it was carried out. It reduces risk; it isn't a guarantee against future compromise, and new vulnerabilities can emerge after our assessment concludes.
On full payment, ownership of the specific deliverable we build or produce for you (a website, an application, a written report) transfers to you. We retain the right to reuse our own general methodologies, tools, and non-client-specific code across other engagements — we're not signing away the toolkit itself each time we use it for a client.
Findings from a security assessment, and any client data involved in producing them, are treated as confidential and are not shared with anyone outside the engagement without your permission, except where we're legally required to disclose something.
We do our work carefully and to a professional standard, but we don't accept liability for indirect or consequential loss (like lost profits or lost business) arising from our services. Where we are liable for something, our total liability for any single engagement is capped at the amount you paid us for that engagement, except where the law doesn't allow that limit (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, which is never limited).
Nothing in these terms excludes any right you have under UK consumer law that can't legally be excluded.
Don't use this site to attempt unauthorised access to our systems, disrupt the site's normal operation, or submit false or malicious information through any form (including the quote request and booking forms). We monitor for this and may block access or report activity that crosses into unlawful conduct.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Changes don't apply retroactively to an engagement already agreed under a previous version.
